Recreation programs

Aim

HomeGround Recreation Programs aim to prevent and end homelessness through housing-focused outreach with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. It primarily works with the Indigenous community local to the Collingwood area.

Eligibility

Recreation is aimed at the Indigenous community who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The program is not limited to Indigenous people and is also available to other individuals experiencing homelessness.

Access

Recreation can be accessed by calling 9288 9650 or by dropping into 68 Oxford Street Collingwood Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. No appointment necessary.

It can also be accessed by referral through the following services:

  • Victorian Aboriginal Health Service
