Private Rental Access Program

Aim

The Private Rental Access Program (PRAP) aims to prevent homeless by facilitating access to private rental housing for women and children leaving family violence situations.

Eligibility

Women and children who are escaping from family violence and at risk of homelessness are eligible.

Access

Please contact HomeGround St Kilda on 9537 7711 or by visiting us at 122 Chapel Street St Kilda 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.

More information

The initial version of PRAP, focusing on women leaving family violence situations, is a partnership between HomeGround and The Salvation Army's Family Violence Service. It is an innovative program combining the respective housing and family violence expertise of each partner to provide women and children with the high quality support and an effective housing response. This program is very successful in preventing homelessness.
