Justice Housing Support

Aim

Justice Housing Support prevents homelessness for people leaving the justice system by supporting them to access safe, secure and affordable long-term housing.

Eligibility

People who are part of the Court Referral and Evaluation for Drug Intervention and Treatment Program (CREDIT) Support Program or the Court Integrated Services Program (CISP) are eligible for referral to this program.

Specific criteria includes people who:

  • Are homeless or at risk of becoming homelessness
  • Have significant alcohol and/or drug problems
  • Are at risk of incarceration
  • Are entrenched in the criminal justice system
  • Are impacted by health and mental health issues
  • Are socially isolated and marginalised
  • Lack vocational and educational opportunities

Access

Access to this program is by referral from the CREDIT Bail program, CISP and the Neighborhood Justice Centre.
