2nd Yarra HACC and Homelessness Forum
The 2nd Yarra HACC and Homelessness Forum was a partnership between HomeGround and the City of Yarra in consultation with Resolve Consulting, the Royal District Nursing Service, Primary Care Partnerships and North Yarra Community Housing.
The forum was held at Richmond Town Hall on 18 November 2009. About 70 people from more than 20 different agencies participated.
In Yarra, there are many services available, which is an advantage for clients and workers; however it can make it difficult to know who everyone is and what each service does. Our aim for the forum was to provide an opportunity for networking and for workers to get to know each other better.
It was also an opportunity for collaborative work on service coordination amongst services in the homelessness sector in Yarra. The feedback from the forum was extremely positive. The forum report will be completed and circulated early in 2010.
The three PowerPoint presentations from the forum are available on this page as well as the agency booklet which contains a range of information covering 20 agencies in the Yarra area.
