Private Rental Management
HomeGround’s Private Rental Management Housing Program is one
innovative and forward-thinking response. The program is based on
partnerships between HomeGround
and residential property owners who are willing to utilise their properties to house low income or marginalised households.
HomeGround’s first Private Rental Management Program partnership is
with Ernest Nominees Pty Ltd, whose philanthropy has made a huge
difference to the life of a formerly homeless person.
In the coming year, HomeGround will engage a consultant to review
access to our Transitional Housing properties. The review will focus on
how this model can best adapt to current challenges and meet the needs
of homeless people.
The next year will also see the development of local area service
networks and single entry points into the service system to simplify
clients’ pathways into transitional housing.
